Questions

What people ask before they switch.

Are all applications included?

Yes, every general business application of the AETHERN platform. Apps for one vendor's technology come as a suite at a fixed price per month for the whole suite (OpenEdge suite: €12.99).

Do I pay for each application?

No. €1 per user per month covers every included application.

Who counts as a user?

Everyone in your organisation who can change something: owners, admins, members, and guests who can edit a project. Guests who can only read are free.

Is e-mail included?

1,000 e-mails per month are included. Mail through your own Microsoft 365 sender does not count.

What does storage include?

Everything your organisation stores in every app: files, documents, attachments and data.

Can I try it first?

Yes. Every new organisation gets 30 days free with all applications and 2 GB of storage, the limits of Startup Bronze.

Can I upgrade?

Yes, at any time, in Organisation → Subscription. More storage is available immediately.

What happens when I reach my storage limit?

You get a notice at 80 % and 95 %. At 100 % new uploads stop until you upgrade or clean up; everything you stored stays readable and nothing is deleted.

Does Enterprise have dedicated hardware?

Enterprise has its own environment with resources sized to your needs, in our European cloud or hosted locally on your own servers, on quote.

Where is my data?

In Europe. The applications, the databases, file storage and e-mail all run in European data centres. What your own AI does with the data it reads falls under your agreement with that AI provider.

Do students learn on real business software?

Yes. Same applications, same data structure as companies use, with an interface made for the classroom. Business exercises will run on practice data, so students never see real customer data.

Can students use AI?

Soon: a free AI assistant, switched on per class by their teacher, is planned. Teachers can already connect their own AI to write course material and plan lessons.

Do you charge for AI?

No. You connect your own AI at no extra cost, and the built-in assistant we are planning will be free within a fair-use limit. We don't resell AI.

Which AI can I connect?

Any AI client that supports MCP, the open Model Context Protocol. We test with Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor and VS Code.

Can I see what an AI did?

Yes. Every call an AI makes is logged with who, when, which app and which project. Owners and admins see the whole workspace and choose how long the log is kept; everyone sees their own. Marking each change itself as made through AI is planned.

What do schools pay?

€9.99 per student per year with every application, 10 GB of storage. Teachers and staff are free.

Does the price include VAT?

No, all prices exclude VAT.
